The so-called Eve sex tape in circulation is a 19-second clip, one continuous shot, with a time-stamp reading “NOV 20 1999″. The time-stamp and very grainy image quality suggest a cheap VHS camcorder was used.

The video shows a black man and black woman in bed together, with the man sliding a dildo in and out of her pussy. We mostly just see a tangle of writhing legs. The woman’s face pops up briefly, but it’s impossible to tell whether or not it’s really Eve or just someone who looks vaguely like her.

Some sources identify the man in the Eve sex tape as Stevie J of production team The Hitmen. The Wikipedia entry for Stevie J reads (as of August 2009): “Outside of his association with Bad Boy he has also produced for artists including Mariah Carey, Deborah Cox, Tamia, Tevin Campbell, and Eve (with whom with he was once romantically involved and made a sex tape in 1999, which leaked to the internet in 2005). Eve took legal action against websites which had it and had it removed but is still on some websites.”
