In early November 2009, Jennifer Lopez filed a lawsuit to block ex-husband Ojani Noa from shopping a sex tape.
Ojani Noa and filmmaker Ed Meyer have been shopping a mockumentary film project called How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J.Lo and Ojani Noa Story around Hollywood. The film would combine home video footage with new reenactments. Lopez has filed suit to block any footage of her.
The lawsuit quotes Meyer’s email claim to have footage of Lopez “in revealing lack of clothing, and in sexual situations, especially in the hotel room footage from [her and Noa's] honeymoon.”
Jennifer Lopez and Ojani Noa were married from February 1997 to January 1998.
Earlier rumors
Upon getting out of prison in 2001, Suge Knight resumed his feud with Sean Combs by threatening to release a DVD called Suge Knight’s Tha Real Story: Down Low With J. Lo and P. Diddy. There were rumors that Knight had acquired a home sex tape featuring Jennifer Lopez and a previous boyfriend, and that he planned to include it on the DVD.
Jennifer Lopez sued to block the release of any unauthorized sex tape. Knight then denied having any such tape. They eventually settled the lawsuit out of court.
