Who? American reality TV star.
Real? Yes.
Nikki Alexander was the winner on the first season of Flavor of Love, where Flavor Flav nicknamed her “Hoopz”. In 2008 she was a contestant on VH1′s I Love Money, which she also won. On the first show, her prize was a brief romance with Flav. On the second show, her prize was $250,000.
In May 2009, a Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander sex tape leaked to the internet. A couple days later, she did a radio interview with Darius “Big Tigger” Morgan and admitted that the tape was real. Alexander said she shot the tape with an ex-boyfriend six years earlier, and that she had thought the tape erased long ago.
Alexander said the ex-boyfriend told her the tape was stolen from his home, but she believes he sold the tape to cash in on her fame. She claimed that a porn distributor offered her a share of profits if she would “sign off on” the tape’s release, and that she rejected the offer.
I like Alexander’s unapologetic attitude: “I don’t regret having sex, I don’t even regret making the videotape, I regret trusting someone” who didn’t deserve that trust. Listen to the six-minute interview:
A hiphop site posted two short clips with nudity cropped out. The full uncensored tape circulates in the malware-infested swamps of the sleazosphere. Some sites report a 48-minute DVD released by Red Light District Video, but the official Red Light District site does not mention the tape.
