Tom Sizemore has had major drug problems for years. He was convicted of assault against ex-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss in 2003. He was busted with two bags of methamphetamine and several pipes in Bakersfield in 2007. Then in 2009 he was caught on video stealing cell phones from a Verizon store in LA. In 2010, he appeared on the VH1 shows Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and Sober House.
In August 2005, a large collection of Tom Sizemore sex tapes totalling eight hours were posted at a subscription website. Sizemore had shot the tapes with several different women. Rumors leading up to the website launch had Liz Hurley and possibly other celebrity ex-lovers appearing in the Tom Sizemore sex tapes, but the actual released videos did not feature any famous women. In addition to sex, the tapes feature lots of drug-taking and weird druggy ranting.

Sizemore seems to have participated in the sex tapes’ distribution, either by selling the rights or sharing in the website proceeds. However, in September 2005, a San Francisco newspaper reported that a bankrupt Sizemore was seeking money from the sex tapes so that he could take his newborn twin sons off welfare.
In October 2005, highlights from the sex tape footage were released on DVD as Tom Sizemore Sex Scandal, distributed by Vivid.

In 2007, Sizemore reportedly announced plans to release more personal sex tapes to raise money. Nothing ever appeared as far as ICSTDB knows.
