Rumors about a Trina sex tape date back many years. In 2003, her lawyers fired off cease-and-desist notices to websites posting supposed screen captures.
Some websites include this item on lists of celebrity sex tapes (possibly cut-and-pasted from an old Wikipedia page): “Rapper Trina was said to be on a sex tape, which was sold by a website not associated with the female rapper. After the engagement of Trina’s lawyers, all references to Trina had to be removed. It has never been confirmed, whether the former stripper was or was not part of this video.”
I’ve come across a couple hiphop message board postings saying basically, “I saw the tape once and it obviously wasn’t Trina”. But even those references are rare.
Without more details or even a tape in circulation, we’ll have to call this one “doubtful”.
There is a three-minute video floating around online showing a rapper and a backup dancer, possibly Trina, having simulated sex onstage while fully clothed. That doesn’t count as a “sex tape” for my money, even if it is her.
