In June 2008, TMZ posted an item about a Verne Troyer sex tape being shopped around, accompanied by a 20-second teaser clip.
Yes, that’s Mini-Me Verne Troyer in a sex tape shot with his former live-in girlfriend at the couple’s apartment. A third party has snatched up the tape and although no deal has been made, we hear dealer Kevin Blatt, who brokered the deal for Paris’ video, is entertaining a $100k offer from SugarDVD to distribute the nastiness. We would have thought the tape was worth at least ONE BILLION DOLLARS.
The girlfriend was one Ranae Shrider, a 22-year-old from Kentucky trying to make it in Hollywood the old-fashioned way. Troyer initially claimed the tape was stolen from his home, but Shrider later admitted that she had taken the tape and authorized TMZ to show part of it.
Troyer responded to the tape leak with a flurry of lawsuits against TMZ, SugarDVD and Kevin Blatt for $20 million. A judge granted a restraining order, and the sides eventually reached a settlement that barred distribution of the tape.
In September 2008, however, someone started selling the Verne Troyer sex tape at a site called sexwithminime.com hosted in Malaysia.
Not surprisingly, Troyer and Shrider’s relationship went sour. Troyer accused Shrider of physical abuse and sued her for $20 million. Shrider mocked Troyer in tabloid interviews.
