Real? He has released three softcore DVDs featuring assorted pornstar guests, but they’re not really “sex tapes”.
Bubba the Love Sponge is one of the most successful radio shock jocks in the USA, a notch below Howard Stern. He’s had a show on Sirius since 2006, as well as a syndicated radio show based out of Tampa.
Bubba the Love Sponge Presents: Bubba Raw
In 2008 he released the DVD Bubba the Love Sponge Presents: Bubba Raw, combining radio show clips, Jackass-style antics and softcore nudity. Guest stars included Penthouse pets Jennifer Emerson and Brea Lynn, plus pornstar Asa Akira (billed as “Akira the Show Whore”).
Some of the women let Bubba hook them up to an electronic device for a segment called “Shock the Puss”.
The formula was successful enough that they made several more DVDs.
Bubba the Love Sponge Presents: Bubba Raw, Vol. 2 featured pornstar Stormy Daniels and Penthouse pet Taya Parker.
Bubba the Love Sponge Presents: Bubba Raw, Vol. 3 had guests Penthouse pet Andie Valentino and Dennis Rodman, plus topless boxing and stripper trivia.
Bubba the Love Sponge Presents: Bubba Raw, Vol.4 featured pornstar Bree Olson and Penthouse pet Heather Vandeven.
These DVDs sometimes get billed as Bubba the Love Sponge sex tapes, but they aren’t “sex tapes” by any normal definition. Anyone dying to watch Bubba have sex on camera will have to keep waiting.
