Stephy Tang was lead singer in the Hong Kong-based pop group Cookies from 2002 to 2004, then moved onto a successful solo career in music and acting.
Stephy Tang - HK pop star subject of sex tape rumor
Her name was mentioned during the Edison Chen photo scandal. One source reported:
Tang dated Edison Chen several years ago, and it was rumored that revealing pictures of her were included in Edison’s collection that leaked online in January of 2008. At that time Tang said if her pictures leaked they would be fake and her “company” would deal with it, just as she is saying now. At the time Gillian Chung had denied, then admitted pictures of her were real, and implied during the 2008 scandal that Tang may need to apologize later, as Chung did, for lying.
However, no photos of Stephy Tang emerged from the Edison Chen collection.
In March 2010, a supposed Stephy Tang sex tape appeared online in China. The video runs approximately 9 minutes. It’s an amateur sex tape shot in a hotel room, with poor lighting and jittery camera held by the unseen man. Some sources claimed that the tape was 8 years old, which would mean it was shot in 2002 when her band Cookies was just starting out.
Stephy Tang denied that the woman in the sex tape was her. One article about the scandal states, “Stephy Tang said that the girl in the clip is not her and claimed that there are netizens who confirmed that the girl is a well known Japan AV [adult video] Star with the name Akiho Yoshizawa.”
ICSTDB does not know if the woman in the so-called Stephy Tang sex tape is really Stephy Tang or Akiho Yoshizawa or someone else.
