Who? Jersey Shore cast member (seasons 1 & 2).
In December 2010, Radar reported that Angelina Pivarnick had backed out of negotiations to make a sex tape for Vivid. It’s not clear how seriously she considered the offer.
In a contract presented to Angelina’s camp — and seen by RadarOnline.com — Vivid offered the Staten Island native a $50,000 advance against royalty profits she would share in.
“Vivid shall pay Artist twenty five percent (25%) of Adjusted Gross Revenue (the “Royalty”),” the contract reads.
In return, Angelina would have to deliver Vivid three hours of footage, including “(i) a minimum of two (2) hours of footage depicting Artist engaged in sexual positions … and (ii) one (1) hour of personalized sexy wrap-around footage depicting Artist.”
When asked if she was prepared to do the porn, Angelina told RadarOnline.com: “No, I’m not. I’m definitely not.”
Presumably this would have been billed as a “leaked” sex tape even though it was contracted by and filmed specifically for the porn studio. No ICSTDB reader could ever be fooled by this ploy, but many people are.
The contract details in the Radar piece provide an intriguing glimpse into the celebrity sex tape business. Shauna Sand, Danielle Staub and Jasmine Waltz likely signed contracts of this sort with the porn companies that released their sex tapes.
Many news outlets misreported that Vivid was offering Angelina Pivarnick a flat $50,000 to make the sex tape. That was just the advance. The contract quoted by Radar gave Pivarnick 25% of revenues, which would have earned her millions.
In any case, she turned down the offer.
In March, gossip blogger/pathological liar Zack Taylor reported, “Jersey Shore‘s Angelina Pivarnick, who has a condom line coming out and has been rumoured to be stripping for Playboy in the future, has made a sex tape, and it may be hitting the Internet very soon!! According to a source, the reality star’s boyfriend David Kovacs had his email account hacked a couple weeks ago, and now someone is in possession of a short little video they made, along with a few ‘scandalous’ photos.” Needless to say, this rumor never panned out.
