On October 12, 2011, Media Takeout reported that P Diddy’s cellphone got hacked and that the hacker’s haul included a sex tape.
Early this morning, MediaTakeOut.com was approached by a group claiming to have an EXTREMELY explicit sextape of Diddy and R&B singer Cassie. The group claims to have somehow “INFILTRATED DIDDY’S DEFENSES” and have his credit card information, his social . . . basically EVERYTHING!!!
But it gets even better. MediaTakeOut.com was also offered OTHER PICS. The group claims to have nude photographs of a number of OTHER celebrities – who reportedly sent pics to Diddy. The insiders will send us a COMPLETE list of all the celebs who are photo’d in compromising positions later today.
The MTO story contained a kernel of truth: Diddy had recently been a victim of hacking. The previous day, TMZ ran a story about Diddy’s credit card info being posted online. The TMZ story was well-sourced and likely true, but that doesn’t make the MTO embellishments believable. MTO has a history of making up sex tape rumors.
Until we hear something from a more reliable source, we’re calling the P Diddy + Cassie sex tape rumor bogus.
