On April 12, 2011, Media Takeout claimed that an alleged Kelly Rowland sex tape would be released later that day.
As usual with MTO, the rumor was bogus. The tape wasn’t “making its way across the internet” because the tape didn’t exist. The only mentions of a Kelly Rowland sex tape anywhere came from other sites citing the MTO story.
Kelly Rowland apparently has good lawyers, and Media Takeout quickly recanted. “Kelly Rowland’s people claim that the woman in the tape is not her. We won’t be posting the tape, and we ask that you don’t either.”
But for the sake of sex tape rumor history, here is the original MTO item:
News of celebrity sextapes never cease to stop. MediaTakeOut.com just learned that an EXPLICIT TAPE of a woman purported to be R&B singer Kelly Rowland is making its way across the web.
The tape shows Kelly (or someone that looks A HECKOVA LOT like her) getting it in with a white haired Caucasian man.
But this isn’t the typical sextape. In it, the man gets a little rough with her. It’s actually kind of difficult to watch.
We’re told that the tape is set to leak later today … stay tuned, you should be able to judge for yourself.
