Aylar Lie was born in Iran, but grew up in Norway with adoptive parents. Soon after her 18th birthday in 2002, she moved to Los Angeles and performed in several porno films. After a year, she returned to Norway to pursue a mainstream entertainment career.

In 2004 Aylar Lie competed in the Miss Norway pageant, but she was disqualified when pageant officials found out about her porn career. She upped the scandal quotient by boasting of her three-way with pop singer Robbie Williams (which he denied). The notoriety led to a spot on the Norwegian/Swedish edition of Big Brother in 2005, followed by her own reality show Aylar – A Year in the Spotlight. Since then she has modeled, appeared in music videos, acted, released a dance pop album, and appeared on celebrity cooking and dance reality shows.

The scandal from her porno past helped make her famous, but it has also proved embarrassing. Nowadays Aylar Lie says, “I was very keen to get attention, so several stunts and scandals emerged. I wanted to make Aylar into a brand. My take on things was that it is better to be talked about than not being talked about. I was really quite depressed and very, very lonely.”

In her porn career, Aylar Lie was billed as Diana (just one name) or Princess Diana or Persian Princess Diana. Her performances still in circulation include Brand New!, Breakin’ ‘Em In 3, Eighteen ‘N Interracial 2, Just Over Eighteen 5, Pink Pussy Cats and

Scenes from Aylar Lie’s porn flicks sometimes show up as “Aylar Lie sex tape” online. But they’re not really sex tapes in the usual sense, and she didn’t really become a celebrity until after she had quit the porn biz.
