Who? Two students at Harare Polytechnic.
Real? Yes.
Kumbirayi Garapo and Audrey Gaker were a pair of 21-year-old undergraduates studying Information Technology at Harare Polytechnic in Zimbabwe. On September 21, 2010, Garapo and Gaker filmed themselves having sex using the built-in camera on his laptop. (We know the exact date because the timestamp is visible throughout the video.)
Garapo mistakenly saved the 105-minute video file to the college’s shared T-Drive. Other students found it, copied it, forwarded it to friends via cellphone, and pretty soon Garapo and Gaker had become Zimbabwe’s most famous unwitting porn stars. Some entrepreneurial-minded students made some extra cash selling the sex tape.

Harare Polytechnic sex tape - Kumbirayi Garapo & Audrey Gaker
Some news items claim that the couple didn’t realize the camera was on, or that Garapo videotaped the session without Gaker’s knowledge, but this Nehanda Radio piece casts doubt on those claims.
At different times, Garapo is seen adjusting the webcam, and Gaker gives an intimate monologue to the camera.
[...] In fact, it was also edited to concentrate on the hot and heavy moments; another indication that this was one for the archives that the two love birds intended to start building.
The same article includes some blow-by-blow description of the tape.
The “blue movie” begins with Kumbirayi lying naked on the bed waiting for Audrey and he can be seen impatiently waiting for the big, hot and heavy showdown. A few minutes later, Audrey walks in the room naked showing off her curvaceous body; she jumps on the bed and the couple commences their sex romp and the webcam clearly captured the action. The two love birds are seen enjoying different sex positions.
[...] Kumbirayi first gets down, literally; licking Audrey’s privates. And being an honest member of a unity sexual government with EQUAL partners, Audrey also takes it upon herself to reciprocate the brave gesture in typical and expert blue movie style of sex scripting!
Garapo blamed the leak on “haters” and begged reporters to drop the story. No such luck.
