In January 2012, Mexican gossip rag TV Notas reported a possible Shakira + Gerard Piqué sex tape: “Aseguran que existe video de Shakira y Piqué ¡en la intimidad!” Like celebrity gossip tabloids everywhere, the story relies heavily on uncheckable anonymous sources.
The TV Notas article claims that an employee of Shakira secretly videotaped Shakira performing fellatio on boyfriend Gerard Piqué, and that the employee was threatening to release the “well guarded” video unless the celeb couple forks over a lot of cash.
A few English-language sites picked up the story, including Fox News Latino and Bleacher Report.
While ICSTDB would very much like to watch these two very attractive people having sex, we doubt we’ll ever get the chance. No such video has leaked, and the rumor never appeared anywhere except that one TV Notas story, which was probably completely fabricated.
TV Notas also reminded readers that was not the first Shakira sex tape rumor. “A few years ago, there was said to be a tape capturing a passionate encounter between her, then boyfriend Antonio de la Rua and Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz, but the images never surfaced.” That Shakira threesome sex tape “never surfaced” because it was an April Fools joke by an Argentinean radio shock jock.
