Hiromi Matsuura has followed a strange career arc. She started as a pop singer with her 2005 hit single “Cruel”, followed by the album Romantic Fantagic in 2006. In 2008, she began appearing in softcore nudie videos like Naked Clips and Married Singer Songwriter.
In 2009, she moved into hardcore porn with Active Shock Debut Singer! And Immediately Retired! (that probably sounds better in the original). It was billed as a one-off release, but that didn’t last long. In 2010, she released her second XXX DVD, Shock Revival Singer – Hiromi Matsuura. As of 2012, she has released another ten hardcore flicks with titles like Actual Singer Hiromi Matsuura As a Wild Fuck Music Teacher and Meet Up and Then Fuck in 4 Seconds. The shock has worn off.
Hiromi Matsuura has managed to bridge AV and mainstream entertainment. Soon after Active Shock Debut Singer! And Immediately Retired! appeared, she released her second album, Angel Virgin. She also hosts a radio show called “Talk & Music”.
