Who? Indonesian politicians.
Real? Unknown; the video exists, but both politicians deny being the people in the video.
On April 21, 2012, website Indonesia Raya News claimed to have a sex tape starring two Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) officials. A few days later, the Jakarta News covered the scandal and explained the (confusing to outsiders) political maneuvering behind its release.
Lawmaker Aria Bima of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) has strenuously denied he is the man in an Internet video, alleged to show him and fellow lawmaker Karolin Margret Natasa having sex.
Separately, fellow PDI-P lawmaker Pramono Anung suspected the release of the sex tape was a blackmail attempt.
Karolin’s father Cornelis, currently the governor of West Kalimantan, also denied the woman in the video was his daughter, saying he believed the video was fabricated.
The sex tape purportedly featuring Aria and Karolin was initially available for download on an obscure website kilikitik.net before indonesiarayanews.com published stories about the video featuring screenshots.
The news website [indonesiarayanews.com] cites … George Toisutta, a former Army chief of staff, as its editor in chief.
George Toisutta is suspected of being behind the publicizing of the sex tape, as well as related online stories, in order to secure gubernatorial elections in West Kalimantan and Maluku.
Cornelis’ opponent in West Kalimantan, Armyn Alianyang, has close ties with George.
The video reportedly runs about one minute. Here are the censored stills that Indonesia Raya News published:

Aria Bima & Karolin Margret Natasa - alleged Indonesia PDI-P sex tape
Meanwhile, the Jakarta Globe quoted Aria Bima fingering his sex tape lookalike:
Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle politician Aria Bima urged the true star of a widely-circulated sex video to come forward on Wednesday as he threatened to file a defamation suit against the Indonesian Web site kilikitik.net — the alleged source of the scandalous video.
The video, which was posted on the Web site earlier this week, reportedly featured a man who bears a striking resemblance to Aria and an unidentified —but politically connected — woman having sex. Aria not only denied starring in the sex tape on Wednesday, but also claimed to know the real star’s identity.
According to Aria, the man in the video is E.G.M., the owner of kilikitik.net, The PDI-P lawmaker urged E.G.M. to come forward and set the story straight.
In mid May, the Indonesian House of Representatives ethics council started hearings on the sex tape scandal, which will no doubt require repeated close viewings of the video by council members.
