Real? Unsure. Her crazy ex claims he has a tape for sale, but nothing has circulated.

Alexandra Burke won the fifth season of British talent competition TV series X Factor in 2008.

While the show was still airing, an ex-boyfriend announced that he had a ten-minute Alexandra Burke sex tape that he was willing to sell. D’andre West bluntly told reporters, “I’m not interested in anything less than £100,000. If she becomes a big star this is easily worth that. She strips, we have sex, you can see everything. . . . I’m happy to wait. I’m only interested in receiving one big lump sum. Even if it’s a year from now she’ll get really big and I’ll sell it then.”

West also claimed that the X Factor producers offered him £20,000, which the producers denied. He also offered to sell the tape directly to Burke herself.

A mutual friend told the tabloids that Burke and West had broken up two years earlier, butthat West remained obsessed with Burke and was stalking her. “Last Thursday he sent her a text that spelled out he KNEW she was at the TV studios in London, adding, ‘Nice brown jacket.’” West apparently saw the sex tape threats as leverage to push Burke to reconcile with him. Blackmailing someone into loving you sure sounds like a foolproof plan, but the reconciliation never happened.

Alexandra Burke won X Factor, her first single (a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”) was a smash hit, and the sex tape never appeared.
