Real? No. There have been rumors and at least one fake, but no real sex tape ever emerged.
Rumors of a Britney Spears – Kevin Federlein sex tape have been swirling since 2005. One report from October 2005: “BRITNEY Spears and Kevin Federline reportedly fear a steamy home video is about to be made public. A member of the singer’s entourage is believed to have copied one of the couple’s personal video tapes — allegedly recorded while Britney was still expecting baby son Sean Preston — and is threatening to release it.”
In November 2006, a nineteen-second clip appeared on various tube sites purportedly showing Britney giving Kevin a blow job. Fleshbot investigated and wrote:
After an eternity of intense speculation (okay, twelve hours or so), an anonymous tipster just sent us an extended version of that clip which has apparently been floating around various amateur sites for a while now—and lo, there’s nary a “Britney and K-Fed Sex Tape” logo on it anywhere to be seen. Coupled with a closer inspection of the lady in question, we’re forced to conclude that the PornoTube version we posted about earlier today merely stars a vague Britney lookalike—though who knows whether that “real” version still exists out there in the wild somewhere? Either way, we’re already starting to lose interest; after all, it’s only a blowjob … and not a very good one at that. As soon as someone sends us verifiable footage of the formerly happy couple getting it on doggie style while some of the more obscure tracks from “In The Zone” play in the background, we’ll let you know.
Also in November 2006, US Weekly reported:
On November 12, the UK tabloid News of the World reported that Kevin Federline, 28, was shopping a four-hour sex tape featuring himself and his now-estranged ex-wife, Britney Spears, 24. According to the report, the video shows them “enjoying an uninhibited range of lovemaking.”
The paper cites a source close to Federline saying, “They did nothing all day but have sex – and play the odd game of chess.”
Chess? Turns out, K-Fed loves it. (He said so in the September issue of GQ.) So is this just his endgame strategy for getting a greater financial settlement out of his ex, who left him suddenly on November 7?
No one from either camp will confirm the existence of the tape. However, notorious porn peddler David Hans Schmidt tells Us he has been in contact with the alleged video’s seller and planned to meet “him” in Hollywood on November 21 (he values the tape at $100 million). Although the seller spoke to Schmidt from a phone with a scrambled number, “he dropped the right names that made me believe he had the tape.”
That rumor never panned out either. The four-hour Britney Spears – Kevin Federlein sex tape never appeared.
