Who? Hollywood screenwriter, Oscar winner for Milk screenplay.

Real? Unsure. The sex photos are real, but the video claim is iffy.

Dustin Lance Black is one of the hot young screenwriters in Hollywood today. He won an Oscar for Milk, he’s a writer-producer for HBO’s Big Love, and he’s currently adapting Tom Wolfe’s Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test (to be directed by Gus van Sant).

In June 2009, celebrity gossip site Starzlife published some private sex photos of Dustin Lance Black with an ex-boyfriend. The photos reportedly showed Black and boyfriend engaged in unprotected oral and anal sex. Starzlife claimed to have a home sex tape of the same couple to be released publicly soon.

Looks like Oscar winner Dustin Lance Black has had plenty of practice at film making!

The boyfriend was later identified as Jeff DeLancy, an LA scenester and gay porn performer/entrepreneur. DeLancy denies being the one who leaked the images.

Dustin Lance Black filed a $3 million lawsuit against Starzlife, and his high-power lawyers have done a pretty good job keeping the photos from circulating online. No video has appeared. That could be because no video ever existed, or it could be because lawsuit fears have prevented Starzlife or others from trying to distribute the video.

Black also apologized for the dangerous sex captured in the photos. “I have had the privilege to speak to people across the country, both gay and straight, on a number of critical issues including safe sex. More important than the embarrassment of this incident is the misleading message these images send. I apologize and cannot emphasize enough the importance of responsible sexual practices.”
