Sometime in late 2007, an alleged “Fergie stolen sex tape” started to circulate online. It’s not really Fergie in the video, just a lookalike with a Fergie-style hat.

The video run 98 or 114 seconds (the longer version has an extra shot or two). It’s presented as a teaser clip for a longer sex tape, which was supposedly available on a porn paysite. Not surprisingly, the longer version doesn’t exist.

There’s not really much sex in this so-called sex tape. It shows a very drunk “Fergie” on the toilet, lounging half-clothed in a hotel room drinking champagne, flipping off the guy filming her, writhing on the floor, then finally masturbating on a bed. Flashy wipes link the different pieces, giving the impression that these are snippets from a longer video. A BBC news broadcast plays in the background.

A logo for pornsite PrivateOnly.com appears at the beginning and end of the clip, and the domain name is superimposed over the whole video. As of early 2012 PrivateOnly.com is a dead site, just a blank page that forwards to a German-language cam site.

We’re not sure who the woman really is, or who produced this video or when or why. But we’re sure it’s fake.
