Frank Lampard + Kieron Dyer + Rio Ferdinand Sex Tape
Who? English football players.
Real? Yes.
In June 2000, a group of English football players took a vacation at Ayia Napa, a beach resort in Cyprus. During the holiday, players Frank Lampard, Kieron Dyer and Rio Ferdinand videotaped themselves having sex with groupies. The tape leaked out soon after and circulated widely among soccer fans.
Ferdinand discussed the notorious sex tape and disputed some common rumors in his autobiography, excerpted in The Sun.
On the same holiday came a notorious episode of a few birds and a videotape which, all these years later, is still used as a stick to beat me, Frank and Kieron with.
I had sex with one girl, which was taped with her consent, and that was it. OK, I’ve played up to the camera a bit, but she knew it was on and it didn’t bother her.
It was made out that the girl was unaware of the filming, but there were only two of us in the room and the camera was on the top of the TV. It was not like it was hidden. It was not one of those tiny cameras you can get these days. It was a bloody huge thing, you couldn’t miss it.
My performance was on the same tape as a recording of Kieron and Frank with a couple of birds, but it wasn’t all at the same time. I didn’t even know about what they had done, it was not all one big orgy, as was reported.
All three have had great careers, but they continued to get into trouble over the years. Ferdinand was suspended for eight months for “forgetting” a drug test. Lampard and other players drunkenly taunted grieving Americans at Heathrow airport the day after the 9/11 attacks.
The Frank Lampard – Kieron Dyer – Rio Ferdinand sex tape doesn’t circulate online as widely as other celebrity videos, but you can probably find it if you look. Some less explicit footage has been used in British TV shows, usually as a prime example of athletes being bad role models.
