Gina Carano Sex Tape

Real? The tape might exist, but it has not circulated publicly.

Gina Carano played “Crush” on the TV show American Gladiators. She has become a top female MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter and a hot sex symbol. Maxim ranked her #16 on its Hot 100 Women list in early 2009. Carano lost by TKO to Cristiane Santos in the massively hyped debut Strikeforce women’s MMA bout in August 2009.

In July 2009, with publicity for the Strikeforce match ramping up, rumors of Gina Carano sex tape circulated. Carano had dated a fellow MMA athlete named Kit Cope years earlier, but the two had broken up in 2007. Now Cope, whose career had declined in the interim, claimed in a radio interview to have a home sex tape that he made with Gina Carano. Soon the rumor mill had Cope shopping the tape to buyers or trying to get Carano to buy it back herself.

A couple days later, Cope told another interviewer that the sex tape claim was a joke blown way out of proportion. “Come on kiddies! Listen to the whole interview. The sex tape thing was OBVIOUSLY a joke response to a listener’s question. I said that a bunch of times.”

Since Cope was the only source for the Gina Carano sex tape, his unequivocal denial should put the rumors to rest.
